By accessing or using Yo Licenses and the Yo WebP Convert extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Yo Licenses provides a licensing platform for the Yo WebP Convert VSCode extension, which enables users to convert images to WebP format with various feature tiers.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our services

3.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. License Tiers and Pricing

4.1 Available Tiers

  • Free Tier: Basic features with usage limitations
  • Starter License: $1.00 - Enhanced features with moderate limits (+70 conversions/day)
  • Pro License: $6.99/month - Unlimited conversions and full features

4.2 Payment Terms

  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Payments are processed securely through Paddle
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Refunds are handled according to our refund policy

4.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro/Enterprise subscriptions. To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Use the service to harm others

User Obligations You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during license activation
  • Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to circumvent license restrictions or rate limits
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Not share your license key with others

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Extension remain with the developers. Your license does not grant you any ownership rights.

  • All content, features, and functionality are owned by Yo Licenses
  • You retain ownership of your converted images
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission

7. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice
  • We are not liable for any service interruptions

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We provide the service "AS IS" without warranties of any kind EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months

9. Data Processing

The Extension processes images locally on your machine. License validation may communicate with our servers to verify your subscription status.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yo Licenses from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service

  • Engage in fraudulent activity

  • Abuse the service or attempt to circumvent technical limitations

  • Suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms

  • Modify or discontinue the service at any time

  • Change these terms with notice to users

12. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

13. Dispute Resolution

  • These terms are governed by applicable laws
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
  • You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits
